music-innovation

I’m a Scottish musician, artist and GTC registered FE lecturer in music with over 15 years’ professional experience in the creative industries, secondary and further education sectors and offender learning and rehabilitation.

I have previously studied and graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, University of Paisley, University of the West of Scotland, Stirling University and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and hold Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Master’s Degrees in music, business and education.

As a professional arts practitioner and lecturer, I have developed a career that has allowed me to work with and work for various schools, colleges and universities alongside community and youth groups creating, developing and delivering both accredited and non-accredited innovative teaching and learning opportunities for students in alignment with the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence and Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) and in alignment with awarding bodies such as Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA), Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) and London College of Music (LCM).

I have significant experience in securing funding for profit and non-profit enterprises and projects and also in fostering and developing sustainable professional partnerships on a local, national and international level.
