Based on the drawing of Jack and George, I decided to take it one stage further and make an attempt at customizing a Pop Vinyl Funko Pop!
I reckon it turned out pretty well!
Starting with a blank DIY Funko Pop, some spray paints, a printed baseball cap template, glue, a lil plastic dog toy, and some bold ambitions, this painstakingly took roughly 5 days to create!
After priming the Funko Pop, spray paint was applied using the smallest paintbrushes I had, with it taking a good few hours and days between coats and applications to ensure the quality of the colours. The little dog toy was purchased and coloured black using a Sharpie!
The hat was relatively easy to make using a paper baseball cap template with colours matched to the Miami Dolphins shade of turquoise. A quick print and cut out, the hat was assembled using some glue and a pin. The little logo was printed and glued on.
Made as a bespoke and unique birthday present, it turned out pretty well! And Jack and George LOVED it!
