spicegirls

I realised recently that my journey to work takes exactly the same length of time as an iPod playlist made up of the Spice Girls’ greatest hits + / – some.

I had to ditch ‘Let Love Lead The Way’ and ‘Friendship Never Ends’ on the grounds that they are pure pish and I actually pretend that they never happened.

I replaced them with ‘Move Over’ and ‘Step To Me’ from the Pepsi era but we will get to that magical Pepsi era later.

WARNING!!!

This song is so unbelievably over-emotional, schmaltzy and dull you may actually forget that they really were a pop phenomenon who actually created a literal Spice World.

The big comeback single that was… R&B?!

Holler

It’s not that it was bad…

So there we have it: a list of Spice Girls songs that in their entirety last the same amount of time as my journey to work.

It’s nice to reminisce.
